Icy Cliff
Part of a collection of images taken along Lake Superior during the winter of 2013-14. This image shows the steep cliffs along the south shore of the lake. The spray from the waves crashing against the cliffs create amazing ice formations. Only when conditions are perfect and the lake's ice pack is vast enough and thick enough can this landscape be viewed. This is another example a series where I chose black and white printing to emphasize the textures of the stone and ice.
Printed on fine art archival-quality paper designed to withstand environmental conditions without fading longer than standard photo papers. Three frame sizes (images are slightly smaller to accommodate matte): 12x18, 16x24, and 24x36. Images are matted and set behind anti-glare acrylic for optimal viewing.
Also available as a mounted 16x24 metal print.
